Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour, South Rim Grand Kingdom Flight

For the discerning Grand Canyon visitor who wants the very best Grand Canyon helicopter tour, look no further - you’ve found it right here! See the absolute best views the Grand Canyon has to offer on this 40 - 50 minute aerial sightseeing bonanza.

Join us at the Grand Canyon Helicopters terminal at the Grand Canyon National Park Airport (GCN) in Tusayan/Grand Canyon Village South. Settle into comfortable bucket-type seats in our Eco-Star EC130 Helicopters, built especially for sightseeing!

    • Fly over the deepest parts of the Grand Canyon, including the North and South Rims
    • Take in amazing aerial views of the infamous Dragons Corridor
    • Depart from the Grand Canyon South Rim at Grand Canyon National Park
    • Individual headphones with digital music and narration in several languages

As you glide across the canyon rim, you'll gasp in wonder as the bottom seemingly drops out from under your feet.

Turning eastward, you’ll gaze deep into the very core of the canyon over 5,000’ down to the dramatic confluence of the Little Colorado River, revered by the local Hopi Indians. Changing direction, you then drift past Imperial Point, a rugged spire standing alone near the North Rim of the Canyon. Flying at the same altitude as Grand Canyon North Rim, you may feel as though you can reach out and touch the canyon walls.

This is the up close and personal perspective only a helicopter can provide! The North Rim itself is only open for part of the year due to heavier snowfalls. Its vastly different climate gives it a different look and allows it to support plant and animal life not present at the drier South Rim. You’ll then head back to Grand Canyon South Rim via the Dragon Corridor, another of the Grand Canyon’s most picturesque sections. If you want the best, this is the best of Grand Canyon helicopter tours – the Grand Kingdom!

Our pilot, Matt was fantastic. He explained everything throughly including how the equipment worked. His enthusiasm for flying and flying in and around the Grand Canyon was very appreciated. I would fly with him and Grand Canyon Helicopters again. The trip was a blast for both my wife and me. We loved it and will do another flight with you when we cross paths in our travels.

My guests were Japanese friends who were totally thrilled with the helicopter views of the canyon. Recorded narrative in Japanese during the flight was much appreciated. Each time I've taken the flight, my heart jumps to my throat when the copter first crosses over the canyon lip. Thanks for another life-time memory.

Wonderful experience. Former Marine spending his 23rd anniversary with wife. High winds the day of the flight; however, the pilot was calm and cool throughout. She made us all feel comfortable by her calm attitude and outstanding skillet. The Canyon was beautiful no matter what conditions we flew in. I would not have wanted to miss it. Came all the way from Florida.
