What is canyoneering?

Canyoneering is an integrative sport combining hiking, scrambling, rappelling, wading, swimming, climbing, and more. In addition to the physical variations, canyoneering offers mental and personal challenges through navigation, problem solving, teamwork and leadership. Think of it as nature’s obstacle course.

Do I need certain skills for canyoneering?

Our tours are designed for beginners, novice, advanced, and experts! There is no need for prior experience for most of our canyoneering expeditions. An experienced guide will be with you along the way, making sure you are having fun and staying safe throughout.

What are the best places to experience canyoneering?

From the heat to the cold, we offer canyoneering experiences year-round across the U.S. Explore the mountains and glaciers of Alaska, ice or rock climbing in Vermont, or the beautiful rock formations in both Phoenix and Utah.

How long does a canyoneering experience last?

Whatever kind of time you have, we have a canyoneering experience for you. For those looking for a quick adrenaline fix, our half-day tours would do the job, or you can choose to fully immerse yourself and become one with nature with 8 days of canyoneering.
