Every introductory lesson includes time in the helicopter flight simulator as well as 15 minutes flight time in a real R22 helicopter!
Your session will begin with a briefing about what makes the helicopter fly, what the various controls do and what you must do whilst flying the helicopter. Then it’s time to speed up your learning with a hands on tutorial in the specially built flight simulator.
The simulator is a compact, fully-featured single turbine helicopter simulator modeled after the popular Eurocopter AS350B. You’ll be able to practice many complex maneuvers and procedures as well as go through the checklist from start-up to shutdown.
Then it’s time to move on to the real deal. You and your instructor will make your way to the helipad for your flight in a real R22 helicopter. One by one you'll learn the controls until you take the stick and pilot the helicopter yourself!
