What skills do I need to fly a fighter jet? 

No skills are necessary for our fighter jet aircraft experience. Regardless of your level of aviation knowledge, you have the opportunity to assume control of the aircraft while in the air. Prior to the flight, you will receive a comprehensive briefing on the ground to prepare you for this unique experience. Generally, guests with more flight experience will have greater freedom and more hands-on time during the flight. Throughout the experience, you will maintain continuous communication with the pilot through an intercom system, allowing for real-time interaction and adjustments based on your comfort level. Just be sure you are in good health and get ready to rock and roll! 

How can anybody take control of a real fighter jet without years of pilot training? 

Our highly skilled pilots possess extensive flight experience and expertise. Upon receiving a comprehensive introduction and brief training session, you will have the opportunity to take control of a real jet. Rest assured that your pilot will closely supervise you at all times and ensure you are at a safe altitude. When the time is right, listen for the command, "your control!" and you will find yourself flying a real jet firsthand. 

What is the best time of year to fly? 

Flights are available throughout the year, and if inclement weather prevents a scheduled flight, rescheduling is not a problem. If you are traveling from a distant location, we suggest allowing for 1-2 additional backup days in your itinerary. It is extremely rare for flights to be canceled solely due to weather conditions. Often, slight adjustments to the timing, such as flying a bit earlier or later the same day, can accommodate minor weather variations, such as rain. 

How long does the full experience take? 

We suggest giving yourself at least half a day for this once in a lifetime experience. It can take anywhere from 3-5 hours, so try not to make many plans for the day. We know this one would top anything else you’ve got in mind!
