The Official City Tour:
Departing from Fisherman's Wharf, The Official City Tour lasts approx.. 120 minutes. First stop is Ghirardelli Square – with over 40 shops and restaurants, Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop. Then the tour heads toward Marina District, with its bars & restaurants and shopping. Next stop is Palace of Fine Arts from where we continue towards the South Vista Point with the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We further drive into the Golden Gate Park, which is one of the largest man-made havens in the world. Within the park, you can visit such a renowned attractions as the De Young Museum, the Japanese Tea Garden and the multi-million dollar California Academy of Sciences. On our way back, we visit famous Haight Ashbury hippie neighborhood, Alamo Square- home to the 'Painted Ladies' Victorian houses. Before returning to Fisherman’s Wharf we will also visit Civic Center / City Hall , Opera House, Union Square, Market street and Chinatown.

Take this 60 minutes tour from South Vista Point to have the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge while driving across the 1.7 mile span of the bridge to get to North Vista Point. From there you have breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay (weather permitting), and on a nice day you can see the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island and the Bay Bridge, making it a great photo stop for every visitor. The tour then carries on into Marin County and stops in charming Sausalito where you can hop off the bus, stroll around, shop, dine, visit various art galleries and enjoy a relaxing lunch by the waterfront. From Sausalito, the bus will head back across the Golden Gate Bridge to South Vista Point. You can visit the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Centre, stroll around the Presidio, or relax at the beach at Crissy Field.

With spectacular views fromt he top on an original open top Double Decker bus, the tour covers all major sites of San Francisco and visits the most popular areas, such as Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, Financial District, the Embarcadero, Chinatown, North Beach and Nob Hill with its impressive Grace Cathedral. The tour includes two brief walking tours around Nob Hill and the Embarcadero for even more photo opportunities.
