Skydiving Jacksonville will blow you away! Just miles from downtown Jacksonville lies Fernandina Beach’s Amelia Island Airport, with stunning views of several state parks and, of course, the magnificent coastline. Here you’ll rise to an altitude 10,000 ft in the air for unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean and Florida coast before taking the plunge and freefalling at speeds up to 120 mph. Don’t worry, your USPA certified tandem master will be with you from ground to sky and back again to ensure your Jacksonville skydive is everything you could have hoped for and more in Floridian adventure!

When can you go skydiving in Jacksonville?

Pretty much anytime! Because Florida is a warmer climate year-round, the Jacksonville location, or “drop zone,” is open year-round. Please note, though, that winds and precipitation do impact skydiving so, during thunderstorm season, jump windows may be limited.

What should you wear for a Jacksonville skydive?

No special clothing is required for your Jacksonville skydive! You can dress for the weather of the day of your jump, keeping in mind that the temperature does drop 1-2 degrees for every thousand feet in the air and that the wind will be rushing during your jump. We do recommend that you wear closed toe shoes that can be secured to your foot, such as a tennis or athletic shoe.

How much does a Jacksonville skydive cost?

Covering your training and jump, skydiving in Jacksonville ranges between $220 and $249 per jumper depending on the day you choose.

How old do you have to be to skydive in Jacksonville?

Per mandate by the federal government and USPA, all Jacksonville skydivers must be aged 18 years or older. We’re sorry but no exceptions or parental consent allowances can be made.
