The Adrenaline Group Selected To Build Triumph Learning's New Computer-Based Testing Products
Arlington, VA and New York, NY, January 21, 2003-The Adrenaline Group, a technology consulting and software development company, and Triumph Learning, Inc., a leading publisher of K-12 test preparation materials and wholly-owned Haights Cross Communications company, announced today that Adrenaline will design and develop Triumph Learning's new computer-based testing materials. The new interactive diagnostic and test products are designed to prepare elementary and middle school students to meet state standards for education in Texas, Georgia and Pennsylvania. They will also support schools in meeting the requirement of the federal "No Child Left Behind" Act to make adequate yearly progress in improving the performance of all students.
"Triumph Learning is committed to providing an exceptional interactive learning experience using computer-based testing materials," said Kevin McAliley, Triumph Learning's Chief Executive Officer. "Adrenaline's expertise in software development and Triumph Learning's custom-designed evaluation and testing materials combine to create a powerful and indispensable educational tool."
Adrenaline's pragmatic design approach features an authoring system that will enable Triumph Learning to introduce additional interactive electronic tests and other educational materials in the future without additional software development.
"Triumph Learning has a tremendous vision of how it wants to use technology in its educational product offerings," said Greg DuPertuis, Chief Executive Officer of Adrenaline. "We're working closely with the Triumph Learning team to ensure an interactive experience for students that is faithful to the high quality and reputation of Triumph's exceptional printed materials."
The computer-based products are expected to be available in June 2003, in time for summer programs. The software will be sold exclusively to school systems.
