Agarimediaware.com Agari Mediaware's media middleware makes it possible to quickly integrate heterogeneous applications that store and process rich media, documents, and other digital content by providing an integration platform that can link together these disparate applications. Organizations can then aggregate, deliver, and exchange content among applications in real-time and integrate content into e-business solutions. Media middleware integrates the metadata as well as the digital content and applications that use it. Adrenaline performed a technology review to examine and assess the state of Agari's product development organization, their processes, and their core software product, Media Star.

Discovery.com Discovery Communications, Inc. is the leading global real-world media and entertainment company. DCI has grown from its core property, the Discovery Channel, first launched in the United States in 1985, to current global operations in 152 countries with over 500 million total subscribers. DCI's 33 networks of distinctive programming represent 14 entertainment brands including TLC, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, Discovery Health Channel, Discovery Kids, and a family of digital channels. DCI's other properties consist of Discovery.com and 165 Discovery Channel retail stores. DCI also distributes BBC America in the United States. Adrenaline is providing technology advisory services to Discovery.com.

Adrenaline worked with the Web Services division of E.W. Scripps to review their online content management and delivery systems, and provide recommendations that would enhance the scalability, availability, and cost effectiveness for these systems.

ePlans Hanley-Wood is the home building industry's leading publisher of trade magazines and vendor of housing blueprints. Adrenaline provided user interface development and Web development services, working closely with Hanley-Wood management, designers, and development staff to completely redesign the Eplans e-commerce Web site and integrate large disparate databases of housing plan information.

Happy Puppy Happy Puppy - Attitude Network, Ltd.  
Attitude Network operates the Web's leading game review and download sites, Happy Puppy and Games Domain. Adrenaline worked closely with Happy Puppy and Microsoft staff to design and build Happy Puppy's Microsoft Premier Partner Internet Explorer push-media channel. The award-winning channel featured extensive dynamic HTML (DHTML) programming.

Soapbox.com The Motley Fool, Inc. - Soapbox.com
Soapbox.com is an interactive online marketplace where people can buy and sell information for education, fun and profit. Authors create their reports, set pricing, and sell to consumers via their own personal "soapbox." Adrenaline partnered with The Motley Fool to take Soapbox.com from concept to launch, planning multiple releases and delivering release 1.0 in only 16 weeks. Soapbox.com offers users an easy-to-navigate interface, and innovative features such as buyer ratings, public discussion areas, and a one-click purchase capability called Quick Buy. The team also developed a sophisticated custom, secure financial transaction system designed to scale with the site's anticipated growth. (testimonial)

ImageCafe Network Solutions - Image Cafe 
ImageCafe is the World's first and only Superstore of websites. It is revolutionizing the way that websites are created by developing a huge superstore stocked full of professional-quality, customizable, websites to go. Network Solutions acquired ImageCafe in November 1999. Early on for ImageCafe, Adrenaline developed an extensive open protocol-based file transfer subsystem, allowing ImageCafe sites to be hosted by a large network of hosting partners.

More recently, Network Solutions hired Adrenaline to design and build a fully functional ImageCafe protoype. This prototype was used to user test various new feature sets of the ImageCafe product. After user testing, Adrenaline worked with Network Solutions to incorporate successful features of the prototype into two new releases of the ImageCafe product.

Powerize provides enterprise knowledge management tools to corporations, unifying breaking business news, deep industry databases and corporate documents under a single, secure management interface. Adrenaline designed and implemented the first user interface prototypes for Powerize's knowledge management engine. When Powerize extended its product offerings to the consumer end user market, Adrenaline worked closely with Powerize senior management, marketing and technical staff members, providing the product planning and documentation for Powerize's first consumer offering. Hoover's Inc. purchased Powerize.com in July 2000.

TruView Imaging Company has the exclusive license to the Retinex Image Enhancement Algorithm that they developed jointly with the NASA Langley Research Center. This algorithm provides an automatic method for image enhancement. For TruView, Adrenaline created a multi-threaded, C++ Win32 GUI application for invocation of TruView's patented image processing routines and to display the results. This application allows the user to invoke sequential actions on multiple images and scroll backwards and forwards between the results. Adrenaline developed several custom Windows controls, such as selection boxes and controls for levels and curves.
