What you will do:
You will be the system architect on a product development team. You will be hands-on through the entire development process.

Your duties will be:

• SHIP GREAT PRODUCTS - Launch high visibility Internet applications that create new markets for our clients.
• System planning: define availability, capacity, system selection, network & security design
• Construction: build out systems - Linux, Apache, Jserv, Solaris, Oracle systems
• Qualification & tuning: stress test and tune systems
• Launch (deployment): get it operations ready and launched

• 2-5 years working in commercial web systems development and/or deployment
• Basic systems design and architecture skills
• A strong background in programming and system design, with emphasis on Unix and internetworking
• Web technologies experience in Unix / Linux, Apache, application servers, e-commerce components, routing & IP technologies, Oracle
• Business and/or consumer product experience is a big plus
• Proven ability to work on small, tight teams

A software orientation is very desirable, as the work spans classic systems design & administration for very software intensive projects.
